DOSAGE
Dosage — the addition of liqueur d’expédition (expedition liqueur) after disgorgement. It consists of wine and a specific amount of sugar and is used to adjust the final sweetness level of Champagne.

The amount of sugar determines the wine category, from Brut Nature (no sugar added) to Doux (more than 50 g/L). Dosage also helps shape the wine’s balance and overall style.

Brut Nature

  • Very high, razor-sharp acidity
